In less than two weeks I will be in my home country, South Africa, for the first time in seven years! I absolutely cannot wait.
We will be arriving in Cape Town on the 14th and then driving along the famous Garden Route to Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown, where my family lives.
It is winter in South Africa right now but I see the weather report says 26°C tomorrow so we will see how it goes when we are there. Days can get hot but nights are very cold.
I am going to try and update my blog as I go, with photographs of where we go and what we do. If you have any requests for photographs of foods, funny signs etc, I will do my best to deliver!
