I don’t usually write about personal things on my blog but at the moment I have a killer sinus infection. I have had it for over a month and I feel grotty. Anyone who has had a sinus infection knows what I mean. Everything hurts – you have earache, toothache, sinus ache, headache, stomach ache, nausea and a brain that threatens to explode out of your forehead if you so much as move your eyeballs.
Unfortunately I have a lot of work to do so I have been working as much as I can, though I feel like a bug that has been a bit squashed and all the legs aren’t quite taking it where it needs to go.
Last night I was preparing material for a new student and what put a smile on my face? The lovely little ladybug stapler that Gill B sent me. She also did my blog header and background and my computer wallpaper. Gill, you have no idea how much it meant to me as I stapled my papers with it on a night when I had definitely seen better days (!)
